The Leven Centre is a dedicated learning space officially opened in September 2015.

The Leven Centre is a stand alone building located at Mt St Vincent Nursing Home.

A Commonwealth Government grant was utilised to construct the Leven Centre under the sponsorship and leadership of Professor Andrew Robinson Wicking Dementia Research & Education Centre UTAS.

The primary function of the Leven Centre is as an onsite learning centre for workforce training and community health education of medical and aged care nursing students. 

The Leven Centre is a state of the art 260 square meter learning space built at an approximate cost of $1.430 million dollars. 

The Centre Comprises:-

  • Large retractable projection screen
  • Data projector
  • Lecturn
  • Lockers
  • Outside deck area
  • Wheelchair access
  • Whiteboard
  • Designated car parking
